Food safety is the foundation of good taste. As a company involved with food, we believe that food safety is our top priority.This belief is reflected in the words under “Protect” in our corporate philosophy: “At NIPPON ACCESS, we support healthy eating habits by protecting the safety and security of the food that’s fundamental to our daily lives.” We are committed to maintaining food safety as one team, in order to reduce risks in the supply chain from production areas to our customers’ dining tables.
 

Main Initiatives to Ensure Delivery of Safe Products
Conducting Factory Audits

We regularly audit the factories contracted to manufacture our private-brand products using the JFS-B standards issued by the Japan Food Safety Management Association.We assess safety control management systems and operational environments, conducting reform activities if any issues are discovered to uphold and further improve food safety standards.
 

 

Verification of Product Specifications

We ensure that the product specifications and packaging, including labels and wording, of our private-  brand products are reviewed by dedicated internal departments to prevent legal violations and labeling errors.


Distribution of Handbook Compiling Laws, Regulations, and Internal Rules Related to Food Safety to All Employees

To ensure safe handling of our products, we are continuing efforts to spread and permeate essential information and knowledge in the aim of fostering a “food-safety culture” in which all employees take their own initiative to prevent accidents.


Online Training Sessions
for Customers, Employees, and Group Companies

We regularly host training sessions for our customers and business partners across Japan, inviting experts to delve into topics that align with current trends, such as revisions to food labeling standards, promotional claims for health-oriented products, allergen management in food manufacturing facilities, and issues related to voluntary food recalls. Through these sessions, participants deepen their understanding of food safety. Additionally, we conduct regular training sessions and video streams for employees and those of group companies to improve their level of knowledge and awareness for safely handling food products.
